Top Clemson CB returning to school … With the clock ticking on undeclared underclassmen thinking about entering the 2021 draft, Clemson junior CB Derion Kendrick, who had been considered to be one of the top 5-6 prospects at the position this year, has somewhat surprisingly announced that he’ll be returning to school next fall. Same story for a trio of other juniors including Texas A&M DT Bobby Brown, along with safeties Jamar Johnson of Indiana and Oklahoma State’s Kolby Harvell-Peel who also announced over the past day or so that they will be turning pro this winter; all three are considered to be early to mid third candidates for this year’s draft. Meanwhile, thanks to reader Harry A for the heads up that Miami junior safety Bubba Bolden, who we had included on our list of the top remaining undeclared underclassmen in fact indicated last week that he’ll be staying in school. Underclassmen have until the end of business on Monday to file paperwork with the NFL in order to be eligible for this year’s draft.
