Two work out prior to supp draft … According to Baltimore Sun beat reporter Aaron Wilson as posted in the National Football Post , more than a dozen NFL teams attended yesterday’s pro day work out of West Georgia DE Darrius Caldwell and DT Dalvon Stuckey, both of whom will be in next week’s supplemental draft. Caldwell, a one-time highly regarded Illinois recruit who had 12 sacks for WGU last fall, measured in at almost 6-5 and had an impressive vertical of 35.5 inched, whereas his reported 40 time of 5.07 and 6 reps in the bench press were not very impressive. Note that Caldwell’s weight has been listed at 323, but we are trying to confirm as his program playing weight in college was around 240 pounds. Meanwhile, Stuckey measured in at 6-2, 302 and ran the 40 in the 5.50 area, while he had 10 bench press reps. At the same time, Clemson OT Isaiah Battle, the highest rated player in this year’s supplemental draft and the only one expected to be selected will have his pro day next Tuesday, while NC Central WR/KR Adrian Wilkins will work out for pro scouts next Wednesday. The supplemental draft is scheduled for next Thursday, July 9th.
