JETS WIN!!! Jags move to #1 … In a real stunner out west, the NY Jets won their first game of the season late this afternoon defeating the LA Rams 23-20. And that will move Jacksonville into the #1 pick overall position in this week’s opening round selection order for the 2021 draft ahead of the Jets who drop to the second pick as they have a significantly stronger strength of schedule figure than the Jaguars. Cincinnati, which came into the week sitting on the third pick, doesn’t play until Monday night in Pittsburgh, will stay with that pick no matter what happens tomorrow. However, there will some considerable movement in the rest of the top ten as a result of today’s game. It appears, for example, that Carolina will slide up into the 4th pick overall, followed by Atlanta at #5 and Miami, with Houston’s pick dropping to #6. As usual, the full opening round selection will be updated after tomorrow night’s game.
