Bonus coverage … There is in fact a 5th conference championship of interest today with Cincinnati hosting Tulsa in the AAC title game this evening with an 8 PM ET KO on ABC. Normally, noboby’d much care what happens in the AAC championship, but should there be an upset in any of the Power 5 title games, the 9th ranked Bearcats will certainly be making the case that they deserve a shot. And if the nothing else, Cincinnati, led by star dual-threat QB Desmond Ridder (#9, 6-4, 215) are just plain fun to watch. The guy pro scouts want to see in this game, though, is rising Tulsa OLB Zaven Collins (#23, 6-4, 260), a legitimate national defensive player of the year candidate who is also getting some legitimate second round interest for the upcoming draft.
