MRI on Bengals’ QB Burrow ‘not good’ … It didn’t look at all good when it happened and an MRI earlier today indicated that the damage to his knee suffered by Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow yesterday was in fact worse than initially anticipated. Indeed, according to a report on ESPN, in addition to a torn ACL, Burrow also tore the MCL as well as incurred other structural issues in his knee. Burrow will have reconstructive surgery as soon as it is possible, but it’s unclear whether he’ll be ready to go when the 2021 regular season gets underway next September. If nothing else it probably means that the Bengals could be in the market for a veteran QB next fall for insurance purposes. Stay tuned!
