Senior Bowl adds three more including rising QB Newman … The Senior Bowl announced that three more players have accepted invitations to this year’s game in Mobile in late January, including QB Jamie Newman. Newman, who at one time was considered to be the #4 QB in this year’s draft class behind Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields and Trey Lance, played three years at Wake Forest before transferring to Georgia this spring. Newman participated in only 1 fall practice, though, before opting out and declaring for the draft in early September. Meanwhile, the other two players added to the Senior Bowl roster today are Mississippi TE Kenny Yeboah and Penn State DE/OLB Shaka Toney. The Senior Bowl also appears to expect the pace of announcements to pick up in the near future as they announced that they are sending out a mass wave of 35-40 invitations in the next little while.
