Worst versus first hilites weekly draft sked … The NY Jets, the NFL’s last remaining winless team who would have had the 1st pick overall were the 2021 draft held last week, have their work cut out for them today if they hope to get off the schneid as they face the defensing Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in an early game today. In fact, both New York teams are in tough this week as the Giants, who would have the 2nd pick were the draft held this week, host Tom Brady and the resurgent Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Monday night game tomorrow. The rest of the top 5, though, will be pretty quiet as Jacksonville, which currently sits on the 3rd pick, and Houston, whose #5 pick belongs to Miami, are both on their byes, while Atlanta, who came into the week at #4, upset Carolina on Thursday night and will drop down the selection order. Meanwhile, a couple of other games to watch which will impact the first ten picks have the LA Chargers at Denver in a match-up of two-win teams, while 2-5 Dallas plays at 2-4-1 Philadelphia. Enjoy!
