Jags go after second win in Thursday niter … Interesting game with some draft implications later this evening on the NFL Network’s Thursday nighter when Jacksonville hosts Miami in a rare Battle of Florida. Kick-off is at 8:20 PM ET. A win by the Jaguars would push them to 2-1 and put the notion of ‘Tanking for Trevor’ aka Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence, the presumptive #1 pick overall at the 2021 draft, in the rearview mirror for the Jags, at least for the present. In fact, at 0-2, Miami looks like it has a better shot at the top pick, at least in the early going, although the Dolphins did get their QB of the future when they selected former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa with the 5th pick this past April.
