Commish to to call top picks from den … Those concerned with whether NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was going to be able to announce the picks at next week’s draft can breathe a little easier after the league confirmed yesterday that the Commish will in fact be announcing the opening round picks from his home in New York. No word, though, on whether the commissioner will be giving virtual hugs to the various players as they are selected.
