Bucs get GOAT

March 17, 2020

Bucs get GOAT … Well there you have it. According to multiple reports, Tampa Bay has an agreement in principle to sign former New England QB Tom Brady to a $30M per season contract when the new football year kicks in tomorrow. What that means is that the NFL’s two all-time leading passers – Brady and Drew Brees of New Orleans – are in the same division and will be playing each other at least a couple of times per year over the next few seasons. It also means that incumbent Bucs’ QB Jameis Winston, the first player selected at the 2015 draft, is now available. It also means that several other teams including the LA Chargers, who have the 6th pick in the upcoming draft, still have big holes at the position after losing out in the Brady sweepstakes.
