Ruggs rips it; Jeudy, Lamb just okay in 40 runs … In the end, Alabama’s Henry Ruggs didn’t break the all-time 40 record at the combine, but he was plenty fast ripping off an official 4.27 clocking that was the best of the day among the WRs. Ruggs’ Tide teammate Jerry Jeudy ran well enough to ensure that he’ll be one of the first receivers off the board this coming April, but his 4.45 clocking in only borderline top 10 type stuff. Meanwhile, pro scouts are probably a little disappointed with the 4.50 clocking of Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb, although like Jeudy he’s known more as a silky route runner and after the catch guy. Also something of a disappointing day for Colorado’s Laviska Shenault who was only able to clock a 4.58. For the record, the top times behind Ruggs were posted by Quez Watkins of Southern Miss (4.35), Darnell Mooney of Tulane (4.38) and Denzel Mims of Baylor (4.39). Here are the official times for all the WRs.
