Tua to hold pro day two weeks before draft … Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa announced earlier today that he intends to hold a private pro day workout for NFL scouts on April 9th. For the calendar-challenged that’s two weeks before the first round of the 2020 draft. Tagovailoa also indicated that March 9th is another key date on his recovery schedule as that’s the day he hopes to get clearance to resume working out. Tagovailoa, a top 5 prospect for the upcoming draft if he checks out medically, underwent season-ending surgery to repair a serious hip injury in October that dramatically clouded his immediate football future.
