Dawgs get Wake QB newman in transfer … Georgia reportedly moved quickly to replace junior QB Jake Fromm, who announced earlier this week that he’d be entering the 2020 draft, with news that former Wake Forest QB Jamie Newman has enrolled at UGA where he will be eligible immediately as a grad transfer. The 6-4, 230-pound Newman, a dual-threat QB in the mold of Cam Newton, was considered to be one of the rising stars of the 2020 draft class earlier this season, although his grade did slip somewhat later in the year.
