Hawaii QB; Baylor S enter draft … Hawaii junior QB Cole McDonald is one of two players to announce late yesterday that they have decided to forgo their final season of college eligibility and apply for the 2020 draft. The 6-4 McDonald was third nationally this past fall with over 4,100 passing yards as he completed 64% of his attempts including 33 for scores against 14 picks. McDonald, though, is still viewed as something of a system passer and doesn’t figure to be drafted until the later rounds, but has the tools to at least be considered something of a sleeper. Yesterday’s other early entry was Baylor junior DB Grayland Arnold, another late round type who until this year was a corner, but shifted over to FS where he had 6 picks.
