Ducks’ QB Herbert heading to Mobile

January 8, 2020

Ducks’ QB Herbert heading to Mobile … The Senior Bowl has announced that Oregon QB Justin Herbert has agreed to participate in this year’s game. Herbert, of course, is one of the more polarizing prospects for the 2020 draft; he’s got all the physical skills in the world including prototype size, special athleticism and terrific arm strength, but Herbert didn’t always play at an elite level in college. However, Herbert, who is generally considered to be the #3 QB in the 2020 draft class behind LSU’s Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama, will get a chance to maybe put some of those concerns about his consistency and pocket awareness to bed with a strong week in Mobile later this month.  Senior Bowl practices get underway on the 21st later this month with the game scheduled for January 25th. As usual, GBN Associate Editor Pigskin Paul Guillemette will be on the ground in Mobile all week and will be reporting on who’s hot and who’s not. Stay tuned!
