Another half dozen enter draft; three stay in school … Its been a busy day on the college wire with 6 more players indicating that they will be entering the 2020 draft, while another three have said they will be staying in school. Today’s draft entries are headlined by star junior RBs Jonathan Taylor of Wisconsin and Georgia’s D’Andre Swift, the top two backs on this year’s GBN positional ranking; both are also considered to have top 20-25 potential for the upcoming draft. At the same time, Michigan C Cesar Ruiz, the #3 guy on the GBN positional list and the 43rd best prospect overall on the GBN Big Board has also entered the draft. They’ll be joined in the 2020 draft field by a third junior RB in Salvon Ahmed of Washington (#18 on the GBN positional list) and junior CBs Noah Igbinoghene of Auburn, Utah speedster Javelin Guidry and Temple’s Harrison Hand. Igbinoghene, the 14th rated corner on the GBN positional ranking is considered to be a solid mid-round prospect, while Guidry and Hand are more late round or free agent types. Meanwhile, Alabama junior MLB Dylan Moses has finally confirmed that he will indeed be staying in school for another year after wavering over insurance concerns the past couple of days. Moses had been considered to be a late first or early second round possibility for 2020 but had to reconsider when he tore an ACL back in October. At the same time two other offensive linemen – OT Jarrid Williams of Houston and Tennessee C Brandon Kennedy – have reportedly been granted a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA and will also be back in school next fall.
