Buckeyes’ LB Hilliard gets 6th year … It kind of slipped under the radar earlier this month, but Ohio State LB Justin Hilliard has confirmed that he has been granted a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA. It wasn’t that Hilliard was injured, but in his 5 years in Columbus, he has had nothing but bad luck when it comes to his health as he torn biceps on 3 different occasions, as well as a torn MCL and a torn Achilles tendon. Ouch! That resulted in a full 24 months of rehab. The 6-0, 235-pound Hilliard, a one-time 5-star recruit at Ohio State, hasn’t played much while at OSU, but has some tools and will finally get a chance to start next fall.
