Injured Tide QB Tua undergoes ankle procedure; still to miss time … Updating that story regarding the high ankle sprain suffered by Alabama junior QB Tua Tagovailoa, the prohibitive favorite to be the #1 pick at the 2020 draft, during last night’s win over Tennessee. According to team officials, Tagovailoa underwent what was described as a successful tight-rope procedure on his ankle this morning. There in fact does not appear to be a definitive timetable for Tua’s return; the team has confirmed that he miss next week’s game against Arkansas, but are hopeful that he will be back in time for their monstrous game with second ranked LSU on November 9th. Fortunately for Alabama, they have a bye the first weekend in November.
