Cardinal LT out a month … It could have been worse. Stanford has confirmed that rising LT Walker Little will miss the next month recuperating from a dislocated knee suffered in the Cardinal’s win over Northwestern last weekend. Little is considered to be a top 10-15 prospect for the 2019 draft and is among several very good OTs with the potential to be the first player selected at the position next April. Meanwhile, the news may be a little better on Cardinal QB K. J. Costello who was knocked out of the win over Northwestern with what was feared was a possibly serious head/neck injury. Costello is still listed as questionable for this Saturday’s big conference game at USC, but the fact that the team won’t make a final decision on his status until later in the week suggests that he could be back sooner rather than later.
