More trades as teams move toward 53 … There have been three more trades today as teams work to get down to Saturday’s 4 PM ET 53-man roster deadline. Miami acquired a couple of backup offensive lineman by sending a 7th round pick to Minnesota for OG Danny Isidora, while they swapped undisclosed conditional picks with Indianapolis for C/G Evan Boehm. Meanwhile, in what can only be described as a ‘future’ deal, Detroit acquired undrafted rookie free agent QB David Blough from Cleveland in a deal in which the two teams will swap 7th round picks in 2022. Presumably, the Lions will get the higher # of the Browns/Lions picks in that round. At the same time, with tomorrow’s roster deadline looming, a number of teams have made at least some cuts, although to date no team is yet down to the limit. So far, though, no 2019 draftee has been released to date either.
