Giants 6th rounder wounded in shooting incident … Washburn CB Corey Ballentine, who was chosen in the 6th round of the 2019 draft by the New York Giants was injured in a shooting incident in Topeka early this morning. Sadly, fellow Washburn DB Dwane Simmons was killed in the same incident. Ballentine’s injuries, though, are thought not to be serious and he is expected to make a full recovery.
