Second surprise pick of the top 6 as the Giants go with Daniel Jones of Duke rather than Haskins. Time will tell, but obviously Dave Gettleman and company felt that this was their guy. Certainly a change of pace. Giants fans of course are praying that he turns out better than the last Duke they selected in the opening round when they took Dave Brown with a supplemental first rounder in the early 1990s.
