Raiders get picks

March 10, 2019

Raiders get star Steelers WR Brown for picks … Let’s try that again; one of the off-season’s most watched soap operas came to a conclusion last night when Pittsburgh agreed to trade disgruntled WR Antonio Brown to Oakland for 3rd and 5th round picks at this spring’s draft. For the record, those are the 66th and 141st picks overall. With this deal, the 2019 selection order and picks by team files have been updated. Interesting deal for one of the NFL’s top players. The Steelers, who had been hoping to get a first for Brown, clearly didn’t get anywhere near what they were hoping for originally. However, the addition of two mid-round picks does give the Steelers 9 picks overall, including an extra third, which could put them in a better position to the work the board in April. On the other hand, the Raiders are down to 8 picks, but 4 of those are in the top 35 picks this year including those three first-round picks.
