Top QBs take care of business at combine weigh-in … As noted earlier today, the big story out of this morning’s measurement session for the QBs was that Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray was able to check off most of the important boxes. Projected to be barely 5-9, Murray came in at a tad over 5-10, about the same height as Seattle’s Russell Wilson; he also weighed in at 207 pounds, again bigger than many expected. Most importantly, perhaps, Murray’s hand measured in at a perfectly respectable 9.5 inches. Murray has confirmed that he won’t throw during Saturday’s on-field testing for the QBs. In fact, he apparently won’t do anything at all on Saturday including run the 40. Instead, its expected he will do a full workout at Oklahoma’s pro day on March 13. For the most part, there really weren’t many surprises at the QB weigh-in as, like Murray, most of the top-rated also spent the day checking off the required boxes. Read more
