Banned combine players not so banned … For those that didn’t see the report over the weekend, but the NFL has reportedly sent a memo to all teams stating that while Missiissppi State DT Jeffrey Simmons, Louisiana Tech Jaylon Ferguson and Colorado State WR Preston Williams will still not be allowed to participate in on-field drills at next week’s combine or be interviewed by teams because of violations of the league’s personal conduct policy, they will now be allowed to attend the combine to undergo the same comprehensive medical exams as the other attending NFL prospects. All three were dis-invited from the combine because of past criminal violations involving some form of violence.
