College football world evolves as it should! … When the college football season started back in September Alabama and Clemson were everybody’s top two ranked teams. And after a full season of action and what passes for college football playoffs, it will be #1 Alabama versus #2 Clemson in this year’s CFP national championship game. Alabama raced to an early 28-0 lead against #4 Oklahoma and Heisman winning junior QB Kyler Murray and held on for 45-34 win over the Sooners in the Orange Bowl to earn their trip to the far coast next week. Meanwhile, Clemson simply wore down an undermanned Notre Dame side and coasted to a 30-3 win in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. In fact, this will be the third time in four years that Alabama and Clemson play for the national title; and the only reason its not a 4th straight year is that the Tide upended the Tigers in last year’s semi-finals. The national championship game will kicks off at 8 PM ET on Monday, January 7th in Santa Clara. Should be fun!
