Utah State RB latest to enter draft

Utah State RB latest to enter draft … Utah State junior RB Darwin Thompson has announced that he is giving up his senior year of eligibility with the Aggies and will enter the 2019 draft. Thompson played only one year at USU after transferring from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College where he was a junior college All-American, but he made the most of it, rushing for just over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns; he’s also a good receiver who had 23 catches this past year for another 350 yards and 2 scores. Thompson isn’t all that big at 5-8, 200 and he lacks sprinter speed, but he’s a tough, instinctive runner with some quickness in space, although he is still more of a later round, free agent type prospect.
