James, Minkah run okay as safeties do 40s … The final group of prospects for the 2018 draft have completed running their 40s with the safeties doing their stuff. And it was an impressive showing for the safeties as many of them ran as well as the corners. That included solid times of 4.47 for Alabama’s Minkah Fiztpatrick and 4.48 for Florida State’s 215-pound SS Derwin James. The top time for the safeties though was turned in by Troy Apke of Penn State who blitzed a 4.35, while Stanford’s Justin Reid and Nat jamerson of Wisconsin clocked 4.40s with Dane Cruickshank of Arizona also impressing with a 4.42. here are the unofficial times for the safeties.
