Titans fire top western scout … In a somewhat surprising move, Tennessee has reportedly parted ways with scout Phil Neri, their western area scout. Neri was in his 13th season with the Titans and his 40th overall as an NFL scout. Prior to coming to the Titans, Neri was director of college scouting with Cleveland. The move is surprising because most teams wait until after the draft to replace scouting personnel.
