Bama LB out for year … Alabama MLB Shaun Dion Hamilton suffered a fractured kneecap during the Tide’s win over LSU Saturday night and will miss the rest of the season. Hamilton, a Butkus Award semi-finalist who is considered to be a second-day prospect for the 2018 draft, underwent surgery yesterday. It’s the second right knee injury in the last year for Hamilton, who suffered a torn ACL in the same knee last December. If there is any positive news for Hamilton it’s that there does not appear to be any additional ligament damage and he may be able to recover in time to participate in pre-draft testing this spring.
