Its dead out there!!!! Indeed, anyone thinking that it has been a pretty quiet draft year so far wouldn’t be far wrong. Indeed, here we are three weeks and a bit from the first picks coming off the board at the 2017 draft and there is almost no buzz out there at all. last year, at this time, for example, there were rumblings about as many as a half dozen potential trades, as well as reports of lots of player movement on boards around the league. Right now, though, there don’t appear to be any serious trade discussions at all out there, although teams are always talking possible parameters. Funny thing, though, is that sometimes in the past we’ve noted a similar trend and then all of a sudden all hell breaks loose! As we say, stay tuned!
