Big changes coming for 49ers front office … There are numerous reports out there this morning that San Francisco will clean house after this afternoon’s game in Seattle. The 49ers are expected to fire both head coach Chip Kelly and G.M. Trent Baalke in the wake of a disastrous 2-13 season. If the 49ers lose to the Seahawks later today they will end up with at least the #2 pick overall at the 2017 draft and still could conceivably end up with the top pick with a loss if Cleveland wins in Pittsburgh in a 1 PM game. Early speculation is that the 49ers could look to Mike Shanahan to take over, but they will obviously also have other options. Interesting, the early speculation is that there may not be major overhauls at some of the other organizations with top picks such as Cleveland, Chicago and the New York Jets. Stay tuned.
