Michigan confirms TE Butt has torn ACL … Updating last night’s report about Michigan TE Jake Butt, one of the top 2-3 rated players at the position for the 2017 draft who suffered a serious knee in the second quarter of last night’s Wolverines’ 33-32 loss to Florida State in the Orange Bowl, team officials are now confirming that Butt tore an ACL and will require surgery. Given the timing, Butt will almost assuredly be unable to workout for pro scouts at either the scouting combine, pro day or private workout prior to the draft.
