Husky LB done for year … Updating the story from the weekend on Washington junior LB Azeem Victor, a rising star at the position who was carted off the field with his leg in an inflatable splint in the 2nd quarter of the Huskies’ key Pac-12 game with Southern Cal on Saturday: it has now been confirmed that Victor suffered a broken leg and will play again this fall after undergoing surgery earlier today. If there is a silver lining to the whole thing for the Huskies its that Victor has reportedly told the coaches that he will return for his senior season next fall; there had been speculation that he might opt to enter this year’s draft.
