Top QB inged

Top QB dinged … Clemson junior QB Deshaun Watson, a potential top 5-10 prospect for the 2017 draft, was forced to leave today’s win over Syracuse with a bruised throwing shoulder suffered when he fell awkwardly late in the opening half. Watson did not play in the second half, but the injury is not believed to be serious and he reportedly could have continued had he been needed. For the record, the 2nd ranked Tigers humbled Syracuse 54-0 to remain unbeaten. Clemson hosts Pittsburgh next week.
