Is this the day for the Browns??? … If Cleveland is to win a game this year, today may be the day as the NFL’s last remaining winless team hosts the 2-5 New York Jets in a 1 PM ET contest later this afternoon. Whatever the result today it will shake up the current selection order for the 2017 draft as Cleveland comes into the week sitting on the #1 pick overall, while the Jets would pick 5th if the draft were held this week. Meanwhile, San Francisco, which would have picked second, has its bye week, while #3 Chicago hosts Minnesota in the Monday night game in another magical scheduling moment for the NFL. In one other game of note today, Carolina, which would have the 4th pick coming into the week, will be hosting Arizona in another 1 PM ET game this afternoon. As usual, the 2017 first-round selection order will be updated after that Monday night game.
