Seahawks lose pick for OTA vioaltion … Seattle has been forced to give up its 5th round pick in 2017 for a violation of the NFL’s policy prohibiting excessive contact in offseason workings. The team was also fined $400,000 and will lose a week of OTAs next season, along with losing the draft pick, while Seattle head coach Pete Carroll was fined $200,000. The penalties are heavy because this is the second violation for the Seahawks who were also cited in 2014.
