Seahawks extend head coach too … Just a couple of days after successfully extending the contract of G.M. John Schneider, one of the key architects of the team’s recent run of success, Seattle has agreed to an extension with head coach Pete Carroll. Carroll is now signed through the 2019 season. Earlier in the week, Schneider had signed a 5-year contract extension, meaning he’ll remain with the club thru 2021.
