Judge nixes fans attempt to get Pats’ picks back …. A federal judge has refused to grant a request by a group of New England fans for a preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order which would have effectively returned the Patriots’ 1st round pick in the 2016 draft, which  forfeited as a result of the deflategate issue, in time for this months draft stating that the suit seeking damages from the NFL for ’emotional distress’ is “highly unlikely” to succeed.
