Cowboys still head 2025 draft with most picks; ‘Hawks lead in early selections … When the NFL revised the selection order for the 2025 draft late last week Dallas lost a pick; however, by our unofficial count, the Cowboys still lead the league with 12 picks in the upcoming draft selection order, followed by Baltimore with 11 and 5 teams – Cleveland, Carolina, San Francisco, Seattle and the LA Chargers with 10 apiece. However, the bulk of the Cowboys’ league-leading picks are in the later rounds; indeed, 9 of their dozen picks are in rounds 5, 6, and 7. In fact, after picking up 2nd and 3rd round picks in recent trades for QB Geno Smith and WR DJ Metcalf, Seattle has the most premium picks in the first three rounds with 5, while 9 teams – Cleveland, Chicago, Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City, New England, New Orleans, San Francisco and the NY Giants – have four each. At the other extreme Atlanta, Minnesota and Pittsburgh have just a couple of top 100 picks each. In fact, Minnesota has the fewest total picks with just 4, while Atlanta, Denver and Houston have 5 each and Cincinnati, Houston, and Arizona have 6 apiece. Indeed, the fact that Atlanta has only 5 picks overall and just two in the first three rounds in likely why the Falcons kept QB Kirk Cousins on the roster as they would like to add to their draft hole via a trade. For now, here is the full, albeit unofficial list of picks by team.
