Auburn WR out of bowl; to return in 2015 … The curious tale of Auburn junior WR D’haquille Williams apparently has a little closure at least for now. Williams is back at practice with the Tigers as they prepare for their Outback Bowl date with Wisconsin later in the week, but will not play in the game after he missed 8 straight practices for undisclosed reasons. The school originally said he was ill, however, a picture with Williams with a black eye showed up briefly on the internet. At the same time, school officials are saying that Williams, a big-play threat who averaged over 16 yards per catch on 45 total receptions this fall, will return to school in 2015 rather than test his luck in the NFL draft. Williams had been considered a potential second round pick if he were to declare this year, but only one year removed from the junior college ranks, could move up further with a good season next fall.
