Redskins ship OT Williams to 49ers … Updating that trade in which Washington traded veteran holdout LT Trent Williams to San Francisco. The Redskins will receive a 5th round pick, #156 overall, later this afternoon and a 3rd round pick in 2021. There are reports that the 49ers want to add Williams because they have told that long-time starter Joe Staley will be retiring because of health issues. Just minutes after the trade was announced the Redskins selected LSU LT Saahdiq Charles with the second pick in the 4th round of the 2020 draft.
