There were a couple of better runs in the back half of the RB 40 runs with Michigan State’s Jeremy Langford somewhat surprisingly leading all backs with a 4.43 time. The Williams boys – Karlos from Florida State and Trey from Texas A&M – were the only other RBs to crack the 4.50 mark with times of 4.48 and 4.49 respectively, while David Johnson of Northern Iowa ran a 4.5o. Johnson bested his namesake, Duke Jonson of Miami who probably was a little disappointed with his 4.55 clocking. Same for Alabama’s T.J. Yeldon who only ran a 4.61 time.
