2024 Grey Cup preview … As noted earlier in the week, the Canadian league championship will be decided this weekend when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers face the Toronto Argonauts in the 111th edition of the CFL’s Grey Cup game at BC Place in Vancouver. Kick-off is a 6pm ET on Sunday with coverage in Canada on CTV, TSN and RDS and CBSSN in the US. The game will also be available for streaming on CFL+. Winnipeg, the Western Conference champions, are appearing in the Grey Cup game for a 5th straight season and are led by former Cincinnati Bearcats QB Zach Collaros and RB Brady Oliveria, the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player Award winner this week.On other hand, Toronto will be without QB Chad Kelly, the nephew of former Buffalo Bills’ great Jim Kelly who the CFL POY last year, after he suffered a potentially serios leg injury in last week’s upset win over Montreal in the East Division final. Kelly, who played collegiately at Mississippi and was actually a Mr. Irrelevant at the 2017 NFL when he was last player selected that year by Denver, will be replaced by veteran back-up Nick Arbuckle. The Argos also feature a former 4th round NFL pick in Ka’deem Carey of Arizona, while Arbuckle will at least have solid receivers including former Notre Damer Davarius Daniels and Makai Polk of Mississippi State; also of note, Toronto DB Royce Metchie is the brother of Houston WR Jon Metchie.
