Bombers, Cats to kick off CFL schedule … The day after confirming that the league will play in 2021, the CFL released its modified 14-game schedule. Hamilton will open the season in Winnipeg on August 5th in a replay of last year’s Grey Cup championship weekend. Saskatchewan will then host the B.C. Lions the following evening with Toronto scheduled to play at Calgary and Ottawa at Edmonton on August 7th. In fact, all games through the first two weeks of the CFL schedule will be played in western cities which have generally been less impacted by covid. The 2021 Grey Cup is scheduled for December 12th in Hamilton.
