Watson gets 6 game suspension

Watson gets 6 game suspension … There are multiple reports at this hour that Cleveland QB DeShaun Watson has been suspended for the first 6 games of the upcoming season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Both sides now have three days in which to file an appeal. The NFLPA has already indicated they’ll live with the judge’s decision. However, the league itself is leaving open the possibility of appealing which could mean that the final decision actually comes down to commissioner Roger Goodell. And if that sounds like an odd way to dispense justice in which one side gets to make the final call if they don’t like the original decision, well it is!! With Watson out for 6 games Cleveland is apparently prepared to live with backup Jacoby Brissett as starting QB rather use up any more draft resources on the position.
