WashComs get Eagles picks for WR Dotson … In a trade involving two NFC East rivals, Philadelphia has acquired WR Jahan Dotson, a first-round pick as recently as 2022, from Washington for a 3rd rounder and a pair of 7th rounders in 2025. To complete the deal, Washington will send a 5th round pick to the Eagles. Other than the fact that this is a usually rare trade intra-division trade, the deal is also interesting in the sense that Dotson is actually the second former 2022 first-rounder the Eagles have acquired this year as they also acquired QB Kenny Pickett from Pittsburgh prior to this past April’s draft. There is also an element we are going to have to check out as the Eagles reportedly included a pair of 2025 7th rounders in both deals. The Eagles also reportedly included another 2025 7th rounder to Atlanta as part of a trade deadline deal with Atlanta last fall. The Eagles do have an extra 7th acquired from New Orleans, but in our math, rusty as it is, 1 + 1 just doesn’t equal 5!
