UDub up on pro day schedule … There is a rare Saturday date on the annual pro day schedule with Washington set to work out later today. Unfortunately, however, the Huskies best prospects aren’t going to be doing much. DT Vita Vea, a legitimate top ten candidate for this year’s draft who ran a 5.10 at 347-pounds at the combine, tweaked a hamstring in Indianapolis and likely won’t risk futher injury today. In fact, the NFL knows pretty much they’d be getting in Vea, but were hoping to see star Huskies’ WR/KR Dante Pettis work out, but he is still recovering from an ankle injury suffered in the Washington’s Apple Cup victory over Washington State in November. Pettis, though, is still hopeful of being able to run for scouts closer to the draft.
