UCF QB Milton sits out win with ankle … If things weren’t bad enough overall for the 2019 draft QB class, star UCF QB McKenzie Milton, a dark-horse Heisman candidate, was unable to play in yesterday’s win over East Carolina because of a banged up ankle. Milton was replaced by Darrel Mack who led the unbeaten and 10th ranked Knights to an easy 37-10 win over the Pirates. UCF currently has college football’s longest active winning streak at 20 straight and should move into the top 10 in the national rankings this week as they continue their longshot pursuit of a spot in the 4-team playoff. At barely, 5-11 and a listed 177 pounds, Milton is not considered to be more than a fringe draft prospect, but he’s been one of the most productive QBs in the country over the past couple of years. UCF and Milton, though, catch a break this week as they have a bye before hosting Temple on November 1st.
