Tulsa LB Collins, two others enter draft … A day after being named this year’s Bronko Nagurski Award winner as the nation’s top defensive player, rising Tulsa junior LB Zaven Collins announced that he will be entering the 2021 draft and won’t play in the team’s bowl game. And while Collins isn’t yet a national household name, pro scouts sure know who he is. For the record, Collins is 6-4, 260 with sideline to sideline range who had 4 sacks and 7.5 other tackles for loss along with 4 picks this fall. Collims is currently listed as the 33rd overall top prospect for the upcoming draft with the tools to go much higher as NFL teams get a closer look. At the same time, Collins will be joined in the 2021 draft class by fellow juniors Milton Williams, a DE from Louisiana Tech who figures to be a mid-to-late 3rd day candidate this spring, and Oregon State RB Jermar Jefferson who figures to go in the same range.
